There is God-given dignity in every human story and in our planet

VIN-JPIC Africa & Madagascar is a coalition of the Vincentian Family standing with the excluded, the imprisoned and the poor — and giving a voice to our wounded common home.

Who We Are

An educative, action-oriented network for the poor and our planet

We are a coalition of Vincentian Family organisations that collaborate around advocacy for the excluded — those on the social and economic margins of history and society — and for our wounded Mother Earth.

Rooted in the charism of Saint Vincent de Paul, VIN-JPIC supports and promotes campaigns for human rights, peace, integral ecology and social justice. We are equally ready to publicly denounce the causes of injustice and the violation of human rights, joining our voice with those who cry out for a more just world.

  • Mission: A united Vincentian voice for sustainable livelihoods, economic justice and social inclusion.
  • Vision: A world where the integral development of every human person is safeguarded.
  • Framework: A human-rights approach so all can live in peace, justice and security.

Our Approach

How we create lasting change

We move from compassion to systemic change — addressing both the wounds and the root causes of injustice.

01

Accompany

We walk with the imprisoned, the orphaned, the homeless and the excluded — present in person, listening to their stories.

02

Empower

We provide food, skills, education and tools that restore dignity and open paths to self-reliance.

03

Advocate

We carry their voices to media, decision-makers and the United Nations, pressing for policies of justice and inclusion.
